And the WISH collection was born…

December 24th, 2010

There will always be poor people in the land. Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land. – Deuteronomy 15:11

We are very very excited to announce the release of our WISH collection. We are starting small, with just two cool tee shirts and a great hope that even those two can make a difference in people’s lives.

The first charity we are going to work with is Birthday Blessings. They are a wonderful organization bringing positive emotional experiences to homeless children and their families by lifting spirits, boosting confidence, broadening horizons, and supporting basic needs. A family service project founded in 2005 by Amy and John Cervantes was born from a desire to raise their children with a love and commitment for giving to others in need.  What began as a monthly birthday party at one homeless shelter in 2005, has now grown into a thriving non-profit that operates three programs serving homeless children and families.  As a volunteer-led organization a dedicated group of volunteers are truly the heart of all that Birthday Blessings does. In addition to local expansion, Birthday Blessings began developing a national network in 2009, with pilot affiliate chapters now organizing and under way in multiple cities across the nation.

We are proudly donating 20% of proceeds from sales of Passionate Soul and Virtue to this incredible cause.

PASSIONATE SOUL – Because we all posses the ability to be concerned for others. It is an image of compassionate hearts that we posses and that we see in so many. This design was created to inspire people to open their hearts in the smallest helping act they are capable of. With the determination to overrule unfortunate events and circumstances we all have a potential to change other’s lives for the better.

VIRTUE – Because we all strive for moral excellence. My grandmother used to say that before I take a bite of an apple I should slice it so I have enough pieces to share with others. It was her way to teach me what virtue of CHARITY meant and this is what initially taught me compassion for others and shaped my character so now I am perceived as a very thoughtful individual. Whatever values you live by, remember that they are intended to be your personal law and a guide.

Please help Heraldry and Birthday Blessings make a difference in the lives of homeless children across the nation.

BLOOM Project Event

December 4th, 2010

Heraldry had the privilege of exhibiting at the BLOOM Project event on Friday December 3rd. The BLOOM Project was created by our dear friends Elizabeth and Amy and it exists as a response to the world’s orphan crisis. Their mission is to care for orphans around the world by helping connect caring people in our community with orphan care projects around the world.

Heraldry donated a portion of the proceeds from that day’s sales to the cause.

We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends who reach out to others with their caring and giving hearts.

Heraldry Clothing helps support the mission and programs of Birthday Blessings – Purchase for a Purpose at The Santa Shops

November 13th, 2010

We recently participated in a local charity event called Purchase for a Purpose at The Santa Shops – Oh yeah it is already that time of the year! The purpose of the event was to introduce a new neighborhood to the citizens of Charlotte as well as raising funds for Birthday Blessings – a non-profit organization bringing joy and support to homeless children.

We were set up in the very cozy laundry room (size of a typical loft) which became the “place to be” as soon as the word about Heraldry’s participation spread around the crowds. At times it got pretty intense! We can recall a few moments when there were more than 10 people visiting us at the same time and fortunately we were still able to provide them with great customer service which resulted in them all leaving  with some of our designer t-shirts. One little girl in particular touched our hearts when she asked her daddy to buy a women’s t-shirt for her mom. She not only picked a perfect graphic tee but she also knew the size, where she was going to hide it and that her mom would love it. So precious!

The event was really cool as many boutique style vendors were there selling products to support a great cause. We met tons of incredible people and made some great friends.  A portion of all sales proceeds were donated to help support the mission and programs of Birthday Blessings.

Heraldry Clothing featured on Groupon – $20 for $60 worth of graphic fashion tee shirts.

November 12th, 2010

On November 10th and 11th we were featured on Groupon.com and our deal ran in the Charlotte, NC marketplace.  For those of you who haven’t heard of Groupon this is how they describe themselves on their website “ Groupon features a daily deal on the best stuff to do, see, eat, and buy in a variety of cities across the U.S., Canada, and Europe.”

We were running an amazing deal of $20 for $60 worth of fashion tee shirts from our website.  Since our deal ran, our phone, website, and email have been blowing up, it’s been crazy. We thought that the Groupon would drive tons of new customers to our site and it did! And so did tons of other web sites that found out about us that day. Bloggers rock!

We would like to say thank you to everyone that participated in our deal – we truly appreciate your support.  The folks at Groupon have been wonderful and we would like to thank them as well for giving us the opportunity and we are looking forward to working with them again in the future.

Heraldry’s fashion tee shirts a part of Guys with Ties “Betting On A Cure Casino Night”

September 26th, 2010

One of the inspirations for starting Heraldry was our devotion to helping those in need. Ever since we released our first collection of shirts we have connected with multiple charity organizations and attended tons of events supporting the homeless, sick, and everyone and anyone that needed our help.

On September 25th we had the privilege of attending an event organized by Guys With Ties called “Betting On A Cure Casino Night” benefiting Team Challenge – Crohn’s and Colitis Disease.

Now that was fun!!! Our dear friend Jim from Guys with Ties and his team organized an amazing event that brought tons of people together to support those affected by this illness. There was dancing, awesome food, casino games and most importantly tons of products donated by sponsors for a silent auction and a raffle. Our graphic fashion tee shirts were proudly displayed among the other prizes and received quite a bit of attention.

Big thanks to Jim and his team for letting us participate in the event and an even bigger thanks to all the guests that attended!

Behind the scenes with Jim Merrill

August 31st, 2010

YAY! We recently had a photo shoot for our new web site and it was a BLAST!  There’s no better feeling than seeing other people wearing our t-shirts, especially when we get the chance to tell some gorgeous people how to rock our brand! We had an amazing time shooting with the renowned and very talented Jim Merrill.  You can see his work and view his photo galleries at JMT Photography. Speaking of Talent, our models were incredible! Courtney Hope Turner – Miss Teen USA – enough said! Emily Armstrong – Top Model in the making! Luke Lawson – future Gillette face! And last but not least rising movie star Michael Capella! The makeup was provided by Deedy Lazorko.

You never know what you’re going to get when doing a photo shoot, but this one absolutely blew our minds. The group of people we had the opportunity to work with we’re incredible. It’s so refreshing to see gorgeous people that are filled with great morals and outstanding character. They made our tees look hot, sophisticated, and classy. We are very blessed to have them representing our brand.

Of course the best part of the photo shoot were the moments when everyone let their guard down and forgot about the presence of the camera.  Here is an all access view of some behind the scenes photos.
